A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Bookings made by telephone can be supported by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Amex and most other credit, debit or bank cards. Apart from major special events (such as The Grand National or The Beatles Festival), you may cancel a booking at anytime . . . .If you cancel at least 3 full days before your arrival, we will refund all of the deposit that you have paid, subject to a 7% administration fee.If you cancel within 3 days ... we will try to re-sell the room to another party, (if possible) ... and if we are successful, then we will then refund your deposit as described above.Cancellation Charges: We regret having to enforce cancellation charges but the situation where we hold bookings in good faith, then suffer non-arrivals, is no longer sustainable.Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Please telephone any cancellations and then confirm by e-mail, fax or letter or quoting the name of the receptionist accepting the cancellation. All bookings made within a cancellation period are deemed to be non-cancellable, i.e. the stated cancellation charge will apply.For the major special events listed before, we will require 7 days notice instead of 3.We respectfully remind guests that a booking constitutes a contract. Any "No Show", "Non Arrival", cancellation or breach of contract will have the balance of the booking charged for in full, unless the accommodation is subsequently re-let when an administration charge of £10.00 only will then be applied. A deposit of 50% is payable upon confirmation of booking. |
